Sometimes it starts as a pin board, or a ripped out picture from your fave magazine of what you want your fabulous new room to look like. You have access to the same retailers designers do but sometimes find yourself in a bit of a pickle. A pickle of choices. Not the bread ‘n’ butter versus dill variety.

Sound familiar? So you buy a sofa that looks pretty darn close. Then you realize that manufacturers haven’t yet fast-fashioned that rug or this side table, and you certainly cannot spend $453674.96 on it. Or you can’t decide. Then life happens; there’s a delay (new baby, going back to work/school adjustment, finances, travel). So you get stuck. Or, you still can’t decide. The project is in purgatory.

Time passes, and you actually will be entertaining soon and the project. Has. To. Get. Finished!
