It’s a gift to designers and consumers alike that a plethora of remarkable fabrics, furnishings, and accessories from all over the world are available at the click of a mouse. While we love being able to reach around the globe for our design needs, there’s something special about that “Made in the USA” label. In honor of July 4th, we are dedicating this week’s post to companies that design and manufacture their products in the USA! We understand that furnishings made here can be more costly than those made overseas, but we think that the support of American companies you provide and the quality of craftsmanship you receive often make it worth the extra buck! Many of these companies have the ability to customize finishes and upholstery to our specific needs, which can’t always be said for items mass-produced in large factories overseas, where only a couple of color and finish options may be available. The more we know about products made here in the states, the more we can support US companies and our fellow Americans.
